How to configure Claro Uruguay for an iPad/iPhone

Setting up Claro Uruguay

It is possible that Mail will find the e-mail configuration itself, and complete setting up your account. Follow these steps first in order to try:

1. Go to Settings > Mail then tap Accounts
2. Click Add Account > Other, then click Add Mail Account.
3. Enter your name (can be any name), your email address, password and a description for your account
4. Click Next. Mail will try and find the e-mail configuration and complete setting your account. If the Mail app finds the email configuration, tap Done to complete your setup.

In case the Mail app hasn't been able to find your email configuration, it means that you have to enter them manually. We think you will need the following information:

Incoming Mail Server (POP) Settings

Outgoing Mail Server Settings (via SMTP)

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Select IMAP or POP for your new account. If you don't know which one to select, contact Claro Uruguay.
2. Type in the details (You will want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
3. If the email settings are correct, tap Save to finish . If your e-mail settings are incorrect, the Mail app will ask you to edit them
4. In case you still are not able to setup your account, or store the e-mail settings, contact Claro Uruguay.
