Configuring 50mail.com for an Android Tablet

Fastmail is an email hosting company based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. Setting up 50mail.com:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Configuration

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both. Please see the information below for the correct parameters.
   • IMAP protocol stores the emails on the server, but it will keep a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Type the passphrase for your mail account and tap Next.
3. Use the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Incoming E-mail (IMAP) Setup

Outgoing E-mail Setup (via SMTP)

1. After you type in the settings, tap Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Please see the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
