
Configuring Mediacombb.Net for an Android Device
With this blog I will teach you setting up Mediacombb.Net with SMTP and POP and IMAP for your Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple language!

Configuring Mediacombb.Net:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Email Settings
- Choose the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both protocols. Refer to the table below for possible protocols.
- IMAP will keep the mails on the server, and it will show a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
- POP3 downloads the mails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
- Type in the password for the e-mail address and tap Next.
- Please see the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
- Now tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
Incoming E-mail (POP) Configuration
Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually pop.Mediacombb.net or mail.Mediacombb.net) |
Server Port | 110 |
Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Try Both |
Incoming E-mail (IMAP) Configuration
Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually imap.Mediacombb.net or mail.Mediacombb.net) |
Server Port | 993 |
Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Try Both |
Outgoing E-mail Configuration (via SMTP)
- After you type in the parameters, tap Next.
- Turn on Require sign-in
- Please use the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually smtp.Mediacombb.net or mail.Mediacombb.net) |
Server Port | Usually 25 or 587 |
Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Try Both |
