How to configure Volny.Cz for an iOS Device
With this blog I will demonstrate setting up Volny.Cz with SMTP and POP and IMAP in a simple language.

Configuring Volny.Cz
It is possible that the Mail app will find the parameters itself then configure your account. Follow these steps in order to try:
- Go to Settings > Mail and tap Accounts
- Click Add Account, click Other, and click Add Mail Account.
- Type in your name, your email address, your password with a description for your account
- Click Next. The Mail app should now try and find the email configuration and finish your account setup. If the Mail app finds your email settings, click Done to finish your account setup.
In case the Mail app couldn't find your e-mail parameters, then you need to enter them yourself. You will need the information below:
Outgoing E-mail Server Setup
| Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually smtp.Volny.cz or mail.Volny.cz) |
| Server Port | Usually 25 or 587 |
| Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |
| Authentication | Password |
| SSL/TLS | Try Both |
Incoming Mail (POP) Settings
| Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually pop.Volny.cz or mail.Volny.cz) |
| Server Port | 110 |
| Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |
| Authentication | Password |
| SSL/TLS | Try Both |
Incoming Mail (IMAP) Settings
| Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually imap.Volny.cz or mail.Volny.cz) |
| Server Port | 993 |
| Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |
| Authentication | Password |
| SSL/TLS | Try Both |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Select IMAP or POP. If you are not certain which one to select, contact Volny.Cz.
- Type in the required information (You might want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
- If your e-mail setup is correct, tap Save to complete . If the mail setup is incorrect, the Mail app will ask you to modify them.
- If you still aren't able to configure your e-mail account, or save your email settings, contact Volny.Cz.
