Configuring Aapt.net.au for your iPhone

With this article we will demonstrate setting up Aapt.net.au with POP and SMTP in a simple way!

How to configure Aapt.net.au:

It is possible that Mail will find the configuration itself then configure your account. Apply the following steps first to try:

  1. Go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts
  2. Click Add Account, click Other and click Add Mail Account.
  3. Type your name (can be any name), your email address, password and a description for your account.
  4. Tap Next. The Mail app should now try to find the mail settings and complete setting your account. If Mail finds your e-mail settings, click Done to complete your account setup.

In case Mail can't automatically set up your account, it means that you need to enter them yourself. You may find the following information useful:

Incoming Mail (POP) Setup

UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)

Outgoing Mail Server Setup (via SMTP)

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Select either IMAP or POP for your new account. If you are not certain which one to select, contact Aapt.net.au
  2. Enter the information (You will refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next
  3. If your mail setup is correct, tap Save to complete . If the mail settings are incorrect, you'll be asked to edit them.
  4. If you still can't setup the account, or store your e-mail settings, contact Aapt.net.au.
