How to configure Aim.com for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Setting up Aim.com

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Needed for Receiving Email

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services support both options! Please see the information below for available parameters.
   • IMAP will keep the e-mails on the server, but it will display a copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended for most users.
   • POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
2. Type the password for the email address and tap Next.
3. Please refer to the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Incoming E-mail Server (IMAP) Configuration

Outgoing Mail Configuration (using SMTP)

1. After you enter the settings, you can tap Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
