Configuring Alice for an Android Tablet
With this article I will simply teach you setting up Alice with IMAP and SMTP for your Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple fashion!

Configuring Alice:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Mail Setup
- Choose the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both protocols. Refer to the information below for the correct parameters.
- IMAP stores the mails on the server, but it will show a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended setting for almost all users.
- POP3 downloads the mails from the remote server and it will store them on your device.
- Enter the passphrase for your email address and click Next.
- Please refer to the following information to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
- Click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Outgoing E-mail Configuration (via SMTP)
- Once the settings are filled in, click Next.
- Select Require sign-in
- Please use the table below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
