How to set up Aol.fr for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Configuring Aol.fr:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving Mail

1. Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both protocols! Refer to the information below for available settings.
   • IMAP protocol will store the e-mails on the server, but it will keep a copy on your device. IMAP is recommended for most users.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
2. Enter the password for the e-mail account and click Next.
3. Use the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Configuration Required for Sending Email (using SMTP)

1. After you type the settings, click Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Use the table below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
