How to configure Austtx.rr.com for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Configuring Austtx.rr.com

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Server Setup

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both options! Refer to the table below for available protocols.
   • IMAP protocol keeps the emails on the server but it will display a cached copy on your device. IMAP is recommended for most users.
   • POP3 will download the emails from the server and it will store them on your device.
2. Enter the password for the email address and tap Next.
3. Please see the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

1. After you enter the settings, click Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Please use the table below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
