How to set up Bigair.com.au:
It is possible that Mail will find your email parameters itself, then set up your account. Follow the following steps in order to try:
- Open Settings, then Mail, then click Accounts.
- Click Add Account > Other, and tap Add Mail Account.
- Type your name, your email address, your password and a description for your account
- Click Next. Mail will now try to find the email configuration and set up your account. If the Mail app finds the email settings, tap Done to complete your setup.
If Mail hasn't been able to automatically set up your account, it means that you will need to enter them manually. I think you may need the information below:
Incoming E-mail Server (POP) Setup
Server Hostname | pop.bigair.com.au |
Server Port | 110 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Outgoing Mail Configuration
Server Hostname | mail.bigpond.com |
Server Port | 25 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Choose either IMAP or POP for your new account If you don't know which one to opt for, contact Bigair.com.au.
- Type the required details (You might have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next
- If the e-mail settings are correct, click Save to finish the setup. If the mail settings are incorrect, the app will ask you to edit the configuration
- If you still are not able to configure the account, or save your e-mail settings, contact your provider.
