Configuring Bulldog Home:
It is possible that the Mail app will find the email parameters itself, and configure your account. Apply the following steps first in order to see if that will be possible:
- Go to Settings > Mail, and tap Accounts.
- Click Add Account, tap Other, and click Add Mail Account.
- Type in your name (can be any name), your email address, your password with a description for account
- Click Next. The Mail app will now try and find the mail configuration and complete your account setup. If the Mail app finds the e-mail settings, click Done to finish your account setup.
In case Mail didn't automatically set up your account, it means that you will have to enter them yourself. You may find the following table useful:
Incoming Mail Server (POP) Setup
Server Hostname | mail.bulldoghome.com |
Server Port | 110 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Outgoing E-mail Server Configuration
Server Hostname | mail.bulldoghome.com |
Server Port | 25 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Select either IMAP or POP. If you aren't certain which one to choose, contact Bulldog Home.
- Enter the information (You will want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next
- If your e-mail configuration is correct, click Save to finish the setup. If your mail configuration is incorrect, Mail will ask you to edit those settings.
- If you still can't set up the e-mail account or store the settings, contact Bulldog Home.
