Configuring Cableone.net for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Configuring Cableone.net:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Configuration Required for Receiving Mail

1. Choose the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services provide both! Please refer to the table below for the correct protocols.
   • IMAP will store the e-mails on the server, but it will show a cached copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your device.
2. Enter the password for the email address and click Next.
3. Use the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.

1. After you type in the settings, you can click Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the table below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.
