Configuring Cablespeed.com for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Setting up Cablespeed.com

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Needed for Receiving Email

1. Choose the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services provide both options! Refer to the information below for possible parameters.
   • IMAP will store the emails on the server, but it will keep a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
   • POP3 will download the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your device.
2. Type the passphrase for your mail address and click Next.
3. Please see the following information in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Settings Needed for Sending E-mail (using SMTP)

1. After you enter the configuration, you can click Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Use the table below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
