How to set up Chartermi.net:

Mail may find the email parameters itself and complete setting up your account. Follow these steps in order to try:

  1. Open Settings, then Mail, then tap Accounts.
  2. Click Add Account > Other, and tap Add Mail Account.
  3. Type in your name, your email address, password and a description for account.
  4. Tap Next. Mail should now try to find the mail settings and set up your account. If the Mail app finds your email settings, click Done to complete your setup.

If Mail can't find your email settings, it means that you have to enter them yourself. I think you will find the table below useful:

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) Setup

Server Hostnamemobile.charter.net
Server Port993
UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)
AuthenticationPassword
SSL/TLSYes

Outgoing Mail Server Configuration

Server Hostnamemobile.charter.net
Server Port587
UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)
AuthenticationPassword
SSL/TLSYes

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Choose either IMAP or POP for your new account. If you aren't certain which one to select, contact Chartermi.net.
  2. Type the required details (You may have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
  3. If your e-mail setup is correct, tap Save to finish . If the mail settings are incorrect, Mail will ask you to modify the configuration
  4. In case you still can't configure your e-mail account or save the settings, contact your provider.
