How to set up Chilli.net.au for your Android Tablet

How to set up Chilli.net.au:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving E-mail

1. Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not support both! Please refer to the information below for the correct protocols.
   • IMAP protocol will store the e-mails on the server, but it will keep a cached copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting for most users.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android phone.
2. Type the password for your email address and tap Next.
3. Please see the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Incoming E-mail Server (IMAP) Settings

Outgoing E-mail Setup (using SMTP)

1. Once the parameters are typed in, tap Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Please use the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
