Setting up Clix for an Android Phone

Setting up Clix:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Server Settings

1. Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not provide both. Please check out the table below for the correct settings.
   • IMAP protocol will keep the mails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
   • POP3 downloads the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
2. Type in the password for the e-mail account and tap Next.
3. Please use the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Incoming Mail (POP) Configuration

Configuration Required for Sending E-mail (via SMTP)

1. After you type the parameters, click Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Please see the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
