
Setting up Clix for an Android Phone
In this article I will try to teach you how to configure Clix with POP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a straightforward fashion.

Setting up Clix:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Mail Server Settings
- Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not provide both. Please check out the table below for the correct settings.
- IMAP protocol will keep the mails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
- POP3 downloads the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
- Type in the password for the e-mail account and tap Next.
- Please use the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
- Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Configuration Required for Sending E-mail (via SMTP)
- After you type the parameters, click Next.
- Check Require sign-in
- Please see the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
