How to configure Claro Argentina for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Setting up Claro Argentina

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Server Setup

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services provide both options. Refer to the table below for available settings.
   • IMAP will keep the e-mails on the server, and it will keep a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended setting for almost all users.
   • POP3 will download the emails from the remote server and it will keep them on your device.
2. Type the passphrase for the mail account and click Next.
3. Please see the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Incoming Mail Server (POP) Setup

Outgoing Mail Server Configuration

1. After you enter the settings, you can click Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Refer to the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
