How to set up Colfax.com for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Setting up Colfax.com:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving Email

1. Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services provide both! Refer to the table below for available parameters.
   • IMAP will keep the mails on the server but it will show a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended setting for almost all users.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Type the passphrase for your email address and click Next.
3. Refer to the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Configuration Required for Receiving E-mail via IMAP

Outgoing Mail Server Setup (using SMTP)

1. Once the parameters are entered, you can click Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Please use the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
