In this article I will summarize configuring Core.com with POP and SMTP in a simple fashion!

Configuring Core.com:
It is possible that the Mail app will find the email settings itself and configure your account. Apply the following steps first in order to see if that is possible:
- Open Settings, then Mail, and tap Accounts.
- Tap Add Account, click Other then click Add Mail Account
- Type in your name (can be any name), your email address, your password then a description for your account
- Click Next. The Mail app should now try and find the mail settings and complete your account setup. If the Mail app finds the e-mail configuration, tap Done to finish your setup.
If Mail didn't automatically set up your account, then you will need to enter them yourself. I think you may need the information below:
Incoming Mail Server (POP) Configuration
Server Hostname | mail.core.com |
Server Port | 995 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Yes |
Outgoing E-mail Server Configuration (using SMTP)
Server Hostname | authmail.core.com |
Server Port | 25 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Choose either IMAP or POP. If you don't know which one to select, contact Core.com
- Type in the information (You may want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
- If the e-mail settings are correct, click Save to complete . If the email settings are incorrect, you'll be asked to modify those settings
- If you still aren't able to set up the email account or store your e-mail settings, contact Core.com.
