How to set up Demobroadband.com for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Configuring Demobroadband.com

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Email Server Setup

  1. Select the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services provide both protocols! You may want to see the information below for available parameters.
    • IMAP will store the emails on the server but it will display a cached copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting in almost all cases.
    • POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will keep them on your device.
  2. Enter the passphrase for the mail address and click Next.
  3. Use the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Tap Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Configuration Needed for Sending Email (using SMTP)

  1. Once the settings are entered, you can click Next.
  2. Select Require sign-in
  3. Please refer to the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
  4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
