Configuring Eastlink.ca for your iPad/iPhone

Setting up Eastlink.ca:

It is possible that Mail will find the email settings itself then complete setting up your account. Apply these steps first to find out if that will be possible:

1. Go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts.
2. Tap Add Account > Other and click Add Mail Account
3. Enter your name (can be any name), email address, password then a description for account
4. Click Next. The Mail app will now try to find the email settings and set up your account. If the Mail app finds the e-mail parameter, click Done to complete your account setup.

In case Mail hasn't been able to automatically set up your account, then you need to enter them yourself. We think you may find the table below useful:

Outgoing Mail Server Configuration (using SMTP)

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Select either IMAP or POP for your new account. If you aren't sure which one to select, contact Eastlink.ca
2. Type the information (You will want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
3. If your email configuration is correct, click Save to finish the setup. If the email setup is incorrect, you will be asked to edit the configuration
4. If you still aren't able to set up your account, or store your e-mail settings, contact the provider.
