How to set up Ecentral.com
Mail can find your settings itself, then set up your account. Follow these steps in order to find out if it can:
- Open Settings, then Mail then click Accounts.
- Click Add Account > Other then tap Add Mail Account.
- Type your name (can be any name), email address, your password then a description for your account.
- Click Next. Mail will try to find the email parameters and complete your account setup. If the Mail app finds your email settings, tap Done to complete your setup.
If the Mail app hasn't been able to find your mail parameters, then you have to enter them yourself. I think you will need the following information:
Incoming E-mail Server (POP) Setup
Server Hostname | pop.ecentral.com |
Server Port | 110 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Outgoing Mail Setup (using SMTP)
Server Hostname | smtp.ecentral.com |
Server Port | 25 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Choose IMAP or POP for your new account If you don't know which one to choose, contact Ecentral.com
- Type in the required details (You might want to take a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
- If the mail configuration is correct, tap Save to finish . If the email settings are incorrect, you will be asked to edit the configuration.
- In case you still can't set up the account, or save your email settings, contact the email provider.
