
How to set up Echidna.id.au for an Android Phone
In this article I will try to teach you how to configure Echidna.id.au using POP and SMTP for your Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple way!

Configuring Echidna.id.au:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Settings Required for Receiving Mail
- Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not provide both options! Refer to the information below for the correct protocols.
- IMAP stores the e-mails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
- POP3 downloads the emails from the server and it will keep them on your Android device.
- Type in the password for your mail account and tap Next.
- Refer to the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Configuration Required for Sending Email (using SMTP)
- After you type the parameters, click Next.
- Turn on Require sign-in
- Please refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Now click Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.
