How to set up Echidna.id.au for an Android Phone

Configuring Echidna.id.au:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving Mail

1. Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not provide both options! Refer to the information below for the correct protocols.
   • IMAP stores the e-mails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Type in the password for your mail account and tap Next.
3. Refer to the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

1. After you type the parameters, click Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.
