How to set up Fastmail.mx for your iOS Device

What is Fastmail.mx

Fastmail is an email hosting company based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. The company was acquired by Opera Software in 2010 but became independent again in 2013 through a staff buyout. Its servers are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey and Seattle, Washington. Setting up Fastmail.mx

Mail may find the email configuration itself, then set up your account. Apply the following steps first to try:

1. Open Settings, then Mail, and tap Accounts.
2. Click Add Account > Other, and tap Add Mail Account
3. Type your name (can be any name), email address, your password and a description for your account.
4. Click Next. Mail should now try to find the e-mail configuration and complete setting your account. If the Mail app finds your e-mail configuration, click Done to complete your setup.

If Mail didn't automatically set up your account, then you will need to enter them yourself. I think you may need the following information:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Choose either IMAP or POP. If you aren't certain which one to select, contact Fastmail.mx.
2. Enter the details (You might refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
3. If your mail settings are correct, click Save to finish . If the e-mail settings are incorrect, you will be asked to edit the configuration
4. In case you still can't setup your account, or save your settings, contact Fastmail.mx.
