Setting up Fastmail.net for your iOS Device

History of Fastmail.net:

Fastmail is an email hosting company based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. The company was acquired by Opera Software in 2010 but became independent again in 2013 through a staff buyout. Its servers are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey and Seattle, Washington. Configuring Fastmail.net:

Mail may find your email parameters automatically and complete setting up your account. Apply these steps to try:

1. Open Settings, then Mail, and click Accounts.
2. Tap Add Account > Other, and click Add Mail Account.
3. Type your name, email address, your password then a description for your account
4. Tap Next. Mail will try and find the mail parameters and finish setting your account. If the Mail app finds your email settings, click Done to complete your account setup.

If Mail couldn't find your mail settings, then you have to enter them yourself. You may need the following information:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Choose either IMAP or POP If you aren't sure which one to select, contact Fastmail.net.
2. Type the details (You might refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
3. If the email settings are correct, tap Save to finish . If your mail configuration is incorrect, Mail will ask you to edit them.
4. In case you still can't configure the email account, or save your email settings, contact Fastmail.net.
