Fastmail is an email hosting company based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. The company was acquired by Opera Software in 2010 but became independent again in 2013 through a staff buyout. Its servers are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey and Seattle, Washington. How to setup fastmailbox.net

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Settings

  1. Select the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not support both. Refer to the table below for available protocols.
    • IMAP keeps the e-mails on the server but it will display a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol for most users.
    • POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
  2. Type the password for your e-mail account and click Next.
  3. Please use the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

  1. After you type in the configuration, tap Next.
  2. Select Require sign-in
  3. Refer to the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
  4. Click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.
