Setting up Firststepinternet.com for your iOS Device

In this post we will simply demonstrate how to setup Firststepinternet.com with IMAP and SMTP in a straightforward fashion.

Configuring Firststepinternet.com:

Mail may find the settings itself, and configure your account. Apply these steps in order to see if it will:

  1. Open Settings, then Mail, and tap Accounts.
  2. Click Add Account > Other, then click Add Mail Account.
  3. Type your name (can be any name), your email address, password with a description for account.
  4. Tap Next. The Mail app will try to find the email configuration and set up your account. If the Mail app finds the email settings, tap Done to complete your account setup.

If Mail didn't automatically set up your account, then you have to enter them manually. You may find the information below useful:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Choose either IMAP or POP. If you aren't certain which one to opt for, contact Firststepinternet.com.
  2. Type in the details (You might want to have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
  3. If the mail configuration is correct, tap Save to complete the setup. If your e-mail configuration is incorrect, you will be asked to edit those settings.
  4. In case you still can't configure the account or store your e-mail settings, contact your e-mail provider.
