How to set up Free.fr for your iPad/iPhone

Setting up Free.fr:

It is possible that Mail will find your e-mail parameters itself, then set up your account. Follow the following steps to see if that is possible:

1. Open Settings, then Mail, then click Accounts
2. Click Add Account, tap Other then tap Add Mail Account
3. Type your name, your email address, password with a description for your account
4. Click Next. The Mail app will now try and find the e-mail settings and set up your account. If the Mail app finds your email configuration, tap Done to finish your setup.

If Mail hasn't been able to find your e-mail parameters, it means that you need to enter them manually. We think you will find the following info useful:

Outgoing Mail Server Setup

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Choose either IMAP or POP for your new account If you don't know which one to choose, contact Free.fr
2. Type in the required information (You might have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
3. If your email settings are correct, tap Save to finish . If the e-mail settings are incorrect, the Mail app will ask you to modify the configuration.
4. In case you still are not able to configure the e-mail account or save the email settings, contact Free.fr.
