Setting up Gaia.eonet.ne.jp for your iOS Device

Configuring Gaia.eonet.ne.jp:

Mail may find the email settings itself, then configure your account. Apply these steps first to find out if that will be possible:

  1. Open Settings, then Mail, and tap Accounts.
  2. Tap Add Account > Other then click Add Mail Account
  3. Enter your name (can be any name), email address, password then a description for account.
  4. Click Next. The Mail app will try and find the mail configuration and complete setting your account. If the Mail app finds your e-mail configuration, tap Done to complete your account setup.

If Mail couldn't find your email settings, then you have to enter them yourself. You may need the following information:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Choose either IMAP or POP. If you don't know which one to opt for, contact Gaia.eonet.ne.jp
  2. Enter the required information (You may have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next
  3. If your mail configuration is correct, tap Save to complete . If the e-mail configuration is incorrect, the Mail app will ask you to modify those settings
  4. In case you still aren't able to setup the e-mail account, or save your e-mail settings, contact Gaia.eonet.ne.jp.
