
Configuring Gmx.org for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)
With this blog we will simply demonstrate setting up Gmx.org with POP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in an easy to follow way!

How to configure Gmx.org
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Mail Server Setup
- Choose the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services provide both protocols. Refer to the table below for possible parameters.
- IMAP keeps the mails on the server and it will keep a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for most users.
- POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your device.
- Type in the password for the mail account and tap Next.
- Please use the following information to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
- Tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Outgoing E-mail Server Configuration (via SMTP)
- Once the parameters are filled in, you can click Next.
- Select Require sign-in
- Please use the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
- Click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.
