Configuring Inode.at:
Mail may find the settings automatically and complete setting up your account. Apply these steps to try:
- Open Settings, then Mail, and tap Accounts.
- Tap Add Account > Other then click Add Mail Account
- Enter your name, email address, password then a description for your account.
- Click Next. Mail will try to find the mail configuration and set up your account. If Mail finds the e-mail configuration, click Done to finish your setup.
If Mail didn't find your e-mail parameters, then you will have to enter them yourself. I think you may find the table below useful:
Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) Configuration
| Server Hostname | mail.upcmail.at |
| Server Port | 993 |
| Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
| Authentication | Password |
| SSL/TLS | Yes |
Configuration Needed for Sending Mail (using SMTP)
| Server Hostname | mail.upcmail.at |
| Server Port | 465 |
| Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
| Authentication | Password |
| SSL/TLS | Yes |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Choose either IMAP or POP. If you aren't sure which one to opt for, contact Inode.at
- Type in the information (You will refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
- If the e-mail settings are correct, click Save to finish the setup. If your mail settings are incorrect, you'll be asked to modify them.
- In case you still can't configure the email account, or save the e-mail settings, contact your provider.
