Configuring Inode.at:
Mail may find the settings automatically and complete setting up your account. Apply these steps to try:
- Open Settings, then Mail, and tap Accounts.
- Tap Add Account > Other then click Add Mail Account
- Enter your name, email address, password then a description for your account.
- Click Next. Mail will try to find the email parameters and set up your account. If Mail finds your email parameter, click Done to complete your account setup.
If Mail didn't find your e-mail parameters, then you will have to enter them yourself. I think you may find the table below useful:
Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) Configuration
Server Hostname | mail.upcmail.at |
Server Port | 993 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Yes |
Configuration Needed for Sending Mail (using SMTP)
Server Hostname | mail.upcmail.at |
Server Port | 465 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Yes |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Choose either IMAP or POP. If you aren't sure which one to opt for, contact Inode.at
- Type in the information (You will refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
- If the e-mail settings are correct, click Save to finish the setup. If your mail settings are incorrect, you'll be asked to modify them.
- In case you still can't configure the email account, or save the e-mail settings, contact your provider.
