How to configure Iprimus.com.au for your Android Device

Setting up Iprimus.com.au

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Needed for Receiving Email

1. Choose the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both protocols. Refer to the table below for available settings.
   • IMAP protocol will store the mails on the server but it will display a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for most users.
   • POP3 will download the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your device.
2. Type the password for your email address and tap Next.
3. Use the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.

Outgoing Mail Setup (using SMTP)

1. Once the parameters are entered, click Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Refer to the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
