How to configure Juno.com for an Android Device
With this article I will explain setting up Juno.com using POP and SMTP for an Android Device in a simple way.
First, a few words about Juno.com:
Juno Online Services, also called simply Juno, is an Internet service provider based in the United States. It originated as a free email service and later expanded its offerings. Juno is a subsidiary of United Online, which in turn is a subsidiary of investment bank B. Riley Financial. United Online is also the parent of NetZero and BlueLight Internet Services. Configuring Juno.com:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Email Settings
- Choose the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both! Refer to the information below for the correct parameters.
- IMAP protocol keeps the mails on the server but it will keep a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
- POP3 downloads the e-mails from the server and it will keep them on your device.
- Enter the password for your mail account and click Next.
- Please use the following information in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Settings Required for Sending Email (using SMTP)
- Once the settings are entered, tap Next.
- Turn on Require sign-in
- Please refer to the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
