How to configure Kimo.com for an iPhone

With this blog we will try to demonstrate how to setup Kimo.com using IMAP and SMTP in a straightforward way.

Configuring Kimo.com:

It is possible that Mail will find the email parameters automatically, then set up your account. Apply these steps to see if that will be possible:

  1. Go to Settings > Mail then tap Accounts.
  2. Tap Add Account > Other then click Add Mail Account.
  3. Type your name, your email address, your password with a description for account
  4. Click Next. The Mail app will try and find the mail configuration and complete setting your account. If Mail finds the e-mail parameter, click Done to complete your account setup.

In case the Mail app can't automatically set up your account, then you will need to enter them manually. You may find the following info useful:

Setup Needed for Receiving E-mail via IMAP

UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)

Settings Needed for Sending Email

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Select IMAP or POP for your new account. If you don't know which one to choose, contact Kimo.com
  2. Type in the details (You might refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next
  3. If your email configuration is correct, tap Save to complete . If the e-mail settings are incorrect, the Mail app will ask you to edit those settings
  4. In case you still can't set up your account, or store the e-mail settings, contact Kimo.com.
