Setting up Libero.it for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Configuring Libero.it:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving Mail

1. Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both! Refer to the table below for the correct parameters.
   • IMAP will keep the e-mails on the server and it will keep a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
   • POP3 downloads the e-mails from the server and it will store them on your device.
2. Type the passphrase for the mail account and click Next.
3. Please refer to the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) Configuration

Configuration Required for Sending Email (using SMTP)

1. Once the parameters are filled in, click Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
