How to configure Live.cn for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

How to configure Live.cn:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Server Configuration

1. Choose the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services support both. Refer to the information below for possible protocols.
   • IMAP protocol will store the emails on the server, and it will show a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol for most users.
   • POP3 will download the e-mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
2. Type the password for the e-mail account and click Next.
3. Please see the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Setup

Outgoing Mail Server Settings

1. After you enter the parameters, you can tap Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Please use the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
