How to configure Mchsi.com for an Android Device

With this blog I will teach you configuring Mchsi.com using IMAP and SMTP for your Samsung Galaxy (Android) in an easy to follow way.

Configuring Mchsi.com

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Needed for Receiving Mail

  1. Choose the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both options! You may want to see the table below for the correct parameters.
    • IMAP stores the emails on the server, and it will show a cached copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting in most cases.
    • POP3 will download the e-mails from the server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
  2. Type the passphrase for the mail account and tap Next.
  3. Refer to the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
  4. Now click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Settings Needed for Sending Email (using SMTP)

  1. Once the settings are entered, click Next.
  2. Enable Require sign-in
  3. Please refer to the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
  4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
