How to configure MSN for an iPad/iPhone

Setting up MSN

Mail app can find the e-mail configuration itself and configure your account. Apply these steps first to find out if it can:

1. Go to Settings > Mail then tap Accounts
2. Click Add Account, click Other then click Add Mail Account.
3. Type in your name (can be any name), email address, password then a description for account.
4. Tap Next. The Mail app should try and find the mail configuration and complete your account setup. If Mail finds the email parameter, tap Done to finish your account setup.

In case the Mail app hasn't been able to automatically set up your account, then you need to enter them yourself. We think you will find the table below useful:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Select IMAP or POP for your new account. If you don't know which one to select, contact MSN
2. Type in the details (You may want to take a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
3. If your e-mail setup is correct, tap Save to complete . If your e-mail configuration is incorrect, Mail will ask you to modify them
4. In case you still can't setup the e-mail account or save the e-mail settings, contact the provider.
