How to set up Mtaonline.net for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

In this post I will try to demonstrate how to set up Mtaonline.net using POP and SMTP for your Android Tablet in an easy to follow language.

How to set up Mtaonline.net

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Needed for Receiving E-mail

  1. Select the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services support both options! You may want to see the information below for possible settings.
    • IMAP protocol will keep the e-mails on the server and it will display a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended setting in most cases.
    • POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will store them on your device.
  2. Enter the passphrase for your e-mail address and tap Next.
  3. Refer to the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Tap Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Configuration Needed for Sending Mail (using SMTP)

  1. Once the settings are typed in, you can tap Next.
  2. Enable Require sign-in
  3. Please refer to the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
  4. Tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
