Setting up Mtsmail.ca for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)
In this article I will simply summarize how to configure Mtsmail.ca with SMTP and IMAP for your Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple way.

How to setup Mtsmail.ca
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Configuration Needed for Receiving E-mail
- Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services provide both options. Refer to the table below for the correct protocols.
- IMAP protocol stores the emails on the server, and it will display a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
- POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your device.
- Type in the password for the email address and click Next.
- Use the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Now click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Outgoing E-mail Server Configuration (using SMTP)
- After you type in the settings, tap Next.
- Turn on Require sign-in
- Please refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
- Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
