Setting up Mymts.net
Mail app can find the email parameters automatically then set up your account. Apply the following steps first in order to try:
- Go to Settings > Mail and tap Accounts.
- Tap Add Account, then Other and tap Add Mail Account
- Type your name (can be any name), your email address, your password then a description for account.
- Tap Next. Mail should now try to find the email settings and set up your account. If the Mail app finds your e-mail parameter, tap Done to complete your setup.
In case the Mail app couldn't automatically set up your account, then you need to enter them manually. We think you may find the following table useful:
Settings Needed for Receiving E-mail via IMAP
Server Hostname | mail.mymts.net |
Server Port | 993 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Yes |
Settings Needed for Sending E-mail (using SMTP)
Server Hostname | mail.mymts.net |
Server Port | 587 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Yes |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Select IMAP or POP. If you don't know which one to opt for, contact Mymts.net
- Enter the details (You might have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
- If the email settings are correct, tap Save to finish . If the mail settings are incorrect, Mail will ask you to modify those settings.
- If you still are not able to configure your e-mail account, or store the email settings, contact Mymts.net.
