How to set up NetCom Norway for your iPad/iPhone

Setting up NetCom Norway

It is possible that Mail will find your e-mail configuration automatically, and set up your account. Follow the following steps first in order to find out if it can:

1. Open Settings, then Mail, then click Accounts
2. Click Add Account > Other, then tap Add Mail Account.
3. Type your name (can be any name), your email address, password then a description for your account
4. Tap Next. The Mail app should now try and find the e-mail configuration and finish your account setup. If the Mail app finds the e-mail settings, tap Done to finish your setup.

If Mail hasn't been able to automatically set up your account, it means that you have to enter them manually. I think you will need the following information:

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) Setup

Outgoing Mail Server Setup (via SMTP)

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Choose either IMAP or POP for your new account If you don't know which one to choose, contact NetCom Norway.
2. Type in the required details (You might want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
3. If the email setup is correct, click Save to complete the setup. If your e-mail setup is incorrect, you'll be asked to edit those settings.
4. In case you still can't setup your email account, or store the e-mail settings, contact the email provider.
