Configuring Netscape.net for your Android Tablet

Setting up Netscape.net:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Server Configuration

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not support both options! Please check out the information below for available protocols.
   • IMAP protocol will store the e-mails on the server, but it will keep a copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended for most users.
   • POP3 will download the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
2. Type in the password for your email address and tap Next.
3. Please use the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Setup

Settings Needed for Sending Mail

1. After you type in the parameters, tap Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Refer to the table below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
