Setting up Pacific.net.sg:
Mail app may find the e-mail configuration itself, and complete setting up your account. Follow the following steps first in order to try:
- Go to Settings > Mail, and tap Accounts
- Click Add Account > Other then tap Add Mail Account
- Enter your name, your email address, your password then a description for your account.
- Tap Next. Mail will now try and find the mail configuration and set up your account. If the Mail app finds the e-mail settings, click Done to complete your account setup.
In case Mail didn't automatically set up your account, it means that you need to enter them manually. I think you may need the following information:
Incoming E-mail Server (POP) Settings
Server Hostname | mail.pacific.net.sg |
Server Port | 110 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Outgoing E-mail Server Settings (via SMTP)
Server Hostname | mail.pacific.net.sg |
Server Port | 25 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | No |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Select either IMAP or POP. If you don't know which one to opt for, contact Pacific.net.sg
- Enter the required details (You might want to take a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
- If the e-mail setup is correct, tap Save to finish the setup. If the e-mail setup is incorrect, you will be asked to edit them
- If you still can't configure your account, or store your e-mail settings, contact Pacific.net.sg.
