How to set up Pley.net
It is possible that Mail will find the parameters itself then complete setting up your account. Apply these steps in order to try:
- Open Settings, then Mail then tap Accounts
- Click Add Account, then Other and click Add Mail Account.
- Type your name (can be any name), your email address, your password then a description for account.
- Tap Next. Mail should try to find the email configuration and finish your account setup. If Mail finds your e-mail settings, tap Done to finish your setup.
If the Mail app can't automatically set up your account, it means that you need to enter them yourself. We think you will need the information below:
Incoming Mail (IMAP) Settings
Server Hostname | mail.pley.net |
Server Port | 993 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Yes |
Outgoing Mail Server Setup
Server Hostname | mail.pley.net |
Server Port | 465 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Yes |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Choose IMAP or POP for your new account. If you don't know which one to opt for, contact Pley.net
- Type the details (You might want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
- If your e-mail settings are correct, tap Save to finish . If your mail settings are incorrect, you will be asked to modify them.
- If you still can't configure your email account, or save your e-mail settings, contact Pley.net.
