Setting up Prodigy.net

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Needed for Receiving Email

1. Select the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both options! Please see the table below for possible protocols.
   • IMAP will store the e-mails on the server and it will show a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
   • POP3 will download the e-mails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
2. Enter the password for the e-mail address and click Next.
3. Refer to the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

1. After you type the settings, tap Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in

4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
