Configuring Quixnet.net for an Android Phone

With this post I will teach you how to configure Quixnet.net with POP and SMTP for an Android Tablet in an easy to follow way.

Setting up Quixnet.net:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Setup

  1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both protocols. Please check out the information below for possible protocols.
    • IMAP protocol will store the e-mails on the server and it will keep a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for most users.
    • POP3 downloads the mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android phone.
  2. Type the passphrase for your mail account and tap Next.
  3. Please see the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
  4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Incoming E-mail Server (POP) Settings

Outgoing E-mail Server Settings

  1. After you type in the parameters, click Next.
  2. Select Require sign-in
  3. Please use the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
  4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
