How to configure Rabbit.com.au for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

How to configure Rabbit.com.au

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Needed for Receiving E-mail

  1. Choose the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services provide both options. You may want to refer to the table below for the correct protocols.
    • IMAP protocol keeps the mails on the server but it will keep a cached copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting in most cases.
    • POP3 will download the emails from the remote server and it will keep them on your device.
  2. Type in the passphrase for your email address and click Next.
  3. Refer to the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing Mail Server Configuration

  1. Once the parameters are entered, you can click Next.
  2. Turn on Require sign-in
  3. Please use the table below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
  4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
