How to set up Ruraltel.net for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Setting up Ruraltel.net:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving Email

1. Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services provide both options. Refer to the information below for possible parameters.
   • IMAP protocol will store the mails on the server and it will display a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended setting in almost all cases.
   • POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will store them on your device.
2. Type the password for the email address and click Next.
3. Use the following information in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing Mail Server Configuration

1. After you type the settings, you can click Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Please see the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
