Configuring SingTel Singapore for an Android Device
With this post I will simply teach you setting up SingTel Singapore with POP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in an easy to follow language.

Configuring SingTel Singapore
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Email Settings
- Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not support both protocols. Please see the table below for available settings.
- IMAP protocol will store the emails on the server and it will display a copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
- POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android phone.
- Type in the passphrase for the e-mail address and click Next.
- Use the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
- Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing E-mail Settings (via SMTP)
- Once the settings are filled in, tap Next.
- Check Require sign-in
- Please see the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
- Click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
